There are two types of files in this directory:
1) no ".dat" extention.  These are the files that were received from CRREL.
They were not in the standard format (comma delimited)
2) ".dat" extention. Weimin Li (UCSB/ICESS) wrote a perl script to convert the
original files, to comma delimited.
